About Kyushu University Wadaiko “Hanakyo”

It is a Japanese drum circle that started in May 2014 and became an official circle of Kyushu University in 2019!

We perform at Kyushu University school festivals and local events such as festivals.

We also hold Japanese drum experience sessions for international students.

Atmosphere of the members

We are currently working with a small group.

There are many experienced people, but inexperienced people and international students are also welcome !

Cum part is also possible .

​Currently, students belong to the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine, and Faculty of Agriculture, from the 3rd year of the undergraduate to the 2nd year of the master's course.

Membership fee

We are not currently collecting membership fees.
Depending on the number of members and the number of events during the year, it may change from year to year.
